There are approximately 55 short-time bars on the street, so there’s no way to see them all. But the girls of Soi 6 make it easy for you to window shop, so you don’t have to actually go into each one in order to check out the girls who work there.

The way it works on Soi 6 is that the bar girls all sit outside of their respective workplaces, so that you can get a good look as you walk by. Some girls offer more to look at than others, but they’re all friendly. The Soi 6 bar girls all sit on the front porch, so to speak. They pretty much sit in a straight line, so that one girl is not restricting the view of any other girl. You’re sure to hear the siren’s call of, “Hello sexy man, welcome. Come inside,” as you stroll past.

The best way to experience Soi 6 is to start at the East end of the Soi up where it meets Pattaya 2. Take your time and just leisurely stroll down the street taking in the girls on both sides of the street. There’s no need to hurry to make your choice.

A good place to stop and take a breather is Jack Tar Pub, which is about halfway down the street. Jack Tar is just a pub where you won’t be hassled by the girls. You can just sit and collect your thoughts for a while.

Once you’re rejuvenated, you can continue you stroll on down to the end of the Soi at Beach Road. Now, that you’ve seen evrthing that’s available, you can head back up the street and meet with the Soi 6 girl that was your favorite.

The short-time bars on Soi 6 are all inclusive, meaning that you can choose your girlfriend for the day; buy her a drink; and take her upstairs to a room without leaving the bar.

As with all of the bars in Pattaya, you’ll have to pay a bar fine if you want to take a girl  upstairs. At the time of this posting the bar fine in Soi 6 bars is 300 baht. There is no charge for the use of the room. What a deal!
The going rate for Soi 6 girls is 700 baht, but we’ve heard reports of a few of them charging as much as 1000 baht. That part you’ll have to talk over with the girl of your choice.

Most guys will sit down with their new-found lover and buy her a drink. That way you can see whether or not she’s a fit for you. If it turns out that you don’t like her, just choose another. You certainly won’t hurt anybody’s feelings on Soi 6. After a drink, it’s upstairs you go. Enjoy the experience.
