If you are already in Bangkok, as we were, there is another way to get to Pattaya. Next to BTS Victory Monument station there is a huge roundaabout. Go Beneath Tollway and you will find a person sitting with a white board with written on it: KK Group Van Service (086-3442036). They run white vans (10 sits in each and air-con) directly to Pattaya with stops at Abac Univesity, Middle Pattaya – Top department store 2nd road between Soi 6 and 7, and finally Jomtien Beach Soi 5. The cost of a single journey was 120 bahts (October 2010). It took about 2 hours to get there and was quite comfortable, so if you don’t want to go back to the airport that is an alternative choice.

there is an air conditioned bus that goes to jomtiem every 2hours from the airport and leaves jomtien every 2hours to the airport the cost is 125baht a really good deal,you can then get a 10baht ride into pattaya on the ordinary baht buses
