Ladyboy Roundup on Jomtien Beach

If any of you guys were down on Jomtien Beach last night around midnight, I’m sure you witnessed all the commotion as police were rounding up nearly every ladyboy in sight. Evidently, people up and down Jomtien Beach have been complaining about ladyboys selling their wares in this part of town where more families tend to vacation. Jomtien Beach wants to maintain some semblance of respectability, after all.

Well, Saturday night it all came to a head when the police converged on an area of the beach popular with the ladyboys and rounded up well over a dozen of them. I must say, I haven’t seen an uglier bunch of ladyboys anywhere. This bunch looked like hell.

As you know, our web site is dedicated to the beautiful Pattaya girls, so in all honesty, most ladyboys look like hell as far as I’m concerned. But the bunch that was rounded up last night was by far the ugliest bunch of she-males I’ve ever seen, drunk or sober. Some of the complaints probably came from people who were just trying to beautify the area.

At any rate, the shake down cleared the Jomtien Beach streets of ladyboys for at least one night. Hopefully, the boys will head back up to Soi 6a where they won’t get hassled as much. We heard that they all got fined 200 baht a piece and were turned loose to prowl again another day.
