Beefeater is the Place for Steak in Pattaya

Beefeater Steak House

Beefeater Steak House

If you’re in the mood for a fine steak dinner, Beefeater Steak House & Pub is the place to go in Pattaya. Located on Soi 13, Beefeater cooks up only the finest cuts of beef imported from Australia and New Zealand. The atmosphere is pleasant and the wait staff is friendly and attentive.

I’ve never met the cook, but I can tell you that he will cook your steak to perfection no matter how you order it. Beefeater Steakhouse & Pub offers three sizes of Filet Steak, 200, 300 or 400 gram. They also serve a 250 gram Ribeye steak that is sure to please.

All steaks come with a choice of sauce. You can choose red wine sauce, pepper sauce, BBQ sauce and of course, béarnaise. Meals also include your choice of potato as well. They offer French fried, baked, mashed, or au gratin. If you’re not into potatoes, you can substitute a green salad.

Steak isn’t the only thing on the menu. Chicken or pork dishes are also available. In fact their Pork Fillet Caruso with béarnaise and asparagus is pretty amazing. Besides the traditional cuts of steak they have kabob as well. They always have some specialty preparations on their “Grill Menu”.

Prices aren’t cheap. But when you consider that they import all of the beef, it’s really worth it. The 200 gram fillet will run you 475 baht. The largest 400 fillet is the most expensive thing on the menu at 795 baht. Most of the items on the grill menu are priced between 365 and 475 baht.

The bar is fully stocked and features the most popular imported liquor. They have a nice wine selection as well.

The dress, as with most Pattaya restaurants, is casual. Shorts are Ok, but I’ve never seen anyone in swimsuit and flip-flops.

The last time I was there I ordered the 200 gram fillet cooked medium rare. It came out perfectly cooked and I could practically cut the meat with my fork. Instead of the potatoes, I ordered the green salad and it was tasty as well. I don’t like to get stuffed before a night out on the town, so the small steak was plenty for me.

Give Beefeater Steak House and Pub a try. I recommend it.
