If you’re looking for a way to entertain the Pattaya girls this weekend, then the Pattaya International Music Festival 2010 is the place to go. The whole town is getting ready to host the festival scheduled for March 19 – 21. They’ve got a huge cast of talent coming to town including bands from Korea, Hong Kong, Viet Nam, Malaysia, and Australia. More than 100 musicians will be hitting Pattaya.
Whether you’re into R & B, Hip-Hop, Pop Music, or good ole Rock-n-Roll, there is sure to be something for you to enjoy. They even have a Country Western band coming as well as a couple of Reggae groups.
The three main stages will be located at Bali Hi Pier, Pattaya Center Road, and another up at Soi 4. Four smaller venues are being set up in between at Hard Rock, Central Festival, Royal Gardens, and the old pier. Each stage will host a particular genre of music and they will be rotating between venues during the three days of the festival.
If you were down at the beach today, you couldn’t miss the preparations already underway. Beach Road traffic was in chaos. They’re setting up food stalls all along the strip and working on the seven stages spread out between Pattaya North Road and Bali High pier.
Traffic was down to one lane and just creeping along. It took nearly a half hour to get from Pattaya North Road just down to Central Festival Mall today. Apparently, they’re going to completely close off Beach Road traffic during the festival between 4pm and 2am.
Count on a lot of people being in town. Bunches are planning to come down from Bangkok. It should be a hell of a party. You know that every Pattaya beer bar on Beach Road will be packed and partying. The Pattaya girls will be frisky and fun. If you can make it to Pattaya this weekend, you’re guaranteed a good time.
