Pattaya’s Soi Diana entertainment area can provide a whole host of entertainment options for the punter who’s looking to venture away from the Walking Street gogo scene and explore a different side of Pattaya nightlife. There are plenty of Pattaya girls on Soi Diana and, yes, they’re just dying to meet you.
Many of Pattaya’s small streets, known as Soi, are nicknamed after prominent landmarks. Soi Diana is no exception. Soi Diana is officially called Soi 13 and that’s what the street sign indicates. But the stretch of Soi 13 that runs east off of Pattaya 2 Road towards Soi Buakhao is named after The Diana Inn that sits on the corner.
Most punters that are new to the Pattaya scene never make it past Walking Street. Who can blame them? There’s plenty to keep you occupied in Pattaya’s most famous and popular entertainment district. But take a stroll up Soi Diana and you won’t be disappointed either.
Just head up the Soi anytime after 8 pm and you’re in for a treat. Soi Diana is lined with numerous beer bars, restaurants, hotels, a coyote bar, and an air conditioned pool hall, just to name a few of the many options. If you hang around until 11pm, the street will really be rockin’, especially on the week ends.
Here is just a sampling of the entertainment on Soi Diana:
Kiss Food and Drink .As you head into the Soi, you’ll see Kiss Food and Drink right across from the Diana Inn. Kiss is famous for its excellent Thai food that’s reasonably priced. This first part of Soi 13 is tame enough.
Beefeater Restaurant. Next up comes Beefeater Restaurant where you can grab a delicious steak before you head farther into the Soi for your night of adventure. Better to get a good meal in before the night’s activities.
Papgayo Coyote Bar. Just a little further along, on the right will be Soi Diana’s only coyote bar. Papagayo is a popular Pattaya coyote bar with the typical glass walls facing the street. There are some dynamite looking girls here and it’s worth a peek.
Soi Diana Beer Bar Complex. Just past the Papagayo starts the beer bar section of Soi Diana. This is where you can find the parties, just look for the balloons. There are a bunch of Pattaya beer bars, all under the same roof on the right hand side of the street. I think there are at least 12 of them. Definitely enough to keep you busy for a while.
Nid Beer Bar. Nid deserves a special mention. This place throws more parties than any other beer bar on Soi Diana. It’s a favorite with Scandinavians, especially the boys at the maipenrai forum. At least one wedding reception has been held here. If there’s a party at Nid Bar, don’t miss it.

On the left hand side of the street there are a bunch of other beer bars. The Luck Bar and Jim’s Beer Bar are popular. Take your pick. The beer bars on the left hand side of the street are smaller and the girls are even more eager to meet you.

Megabreak Billiard Hall Pattaya
Megabreak Pool Hall. Take a break from the Pattaya beer bar action and stop in for an air conditioned game of pool.
They have weekly double elimination and handicapped 9-ball competitions. Free food and table time before the tournaments.
Megabreak is another place to look for Pattaya freelancers who will wear you out on the pool table.
Also a good place to watch sporting events. They have fifteen big-screen TV’s.
Still haven’t seen enough Pattaya beer bars? Keep heading up the Soi. After Megabreak starts another area of individual Pattaya beer bars. There are at least another half dozen places with typical beer bar set up. Stop in at The New Orn Bar 2 or The All Bar One. Both have friendly bar girls and reasonably priced beer.
I’m telling you guys, you need to check out this area of town. You won’t be disappointed. If you make it all the way up to Soi Buakho, you’ll run smack into Oasis GoGo and the LK Entertainment District. But that’s another story. Enjoy!

Great post mate. I usually stay at the Areca Lodge Hotel and have spent many a happy time in these bars. Well except the “New Orn Bar” some right strange ones in there. Cant wait to get back. Thanks for sharing. Cheers

i have heard some preety disturbing things about jims beer bar.
that they are scamming their customers, threatening with violence if you dont pay up for things you never

A set of questions before we jet off to Pattaya:
1. We are going there in two weeks. What do we expect in terms of weather, girls, prices etc.?? From what I have seen on the net that is the low season and the weather should get a bit hotter like in October, where there be significantly less girls? I don’t mean that any of us is going to be like a cheap Charlie. I don’t like to be rip off. If a girl does a good job she will get a nice tip! Simple as that!
2. We are deffenetely going to try Honey Body Massage but, at the moment, can you recommend any oil massage place? I know there are many of them (I have seen at least 50 during our last trip) but we are looking for a good place to get a good massage firstly and a good head for an extra tip at the end?
3. A question a bit outside of the box: can you recommend any gym somewhere there? To be honest I haven’t noticed any last time and we are not going there to do bodybuilding but at certain times when we won’t be chasing girls we want to go to a quiet place to talk and do a workout?
4. Where should we go to get an unforgettable threesome experience? You know I don’t mean just two girls one after another but a team?? I have seen some posts about a place called Devil’s Den, can you recommend it?
5. Last on for the road: how safe is going with a freelancer? I have seen quite a few opinions on Pattaya Addicts page about what has happened in the past and somehow I am under impression that they don’t really recommend it! Have you ever used a room for 100 baht?? I mean, if you think using your brain and keep your valuable things in a safe and a guard will keep her ID until she leaves it should be ok??

1. The weather is great, the girls are just as plentiful as ever, and they can’t wait to meet you!
2. Sorry, I don’t have an oil massage to recommend, but there are a bunch of them right across the street from Honey.
3. California Wow Fitness has a nice gym on Pattaya 2 road at Soi 12 & 13 in the shopping center.
4. For an unforgettable threesome experience there is nothing that can compare to the Devil’s Den. Check out our post about the Bisexual Girls of Devils Den. Go for the 1pm starting line up and you’ll have a good selection of girls.
5. The 100 baht rooms are ghetto. Just keep your wits about you and your stuff in the safe and you won’t have a problem back at your hotel.

i stay at luck apartment everytime i go pattaya and i drink in jims bar a lot and i know jim really well and she is a lovely lady and your have to excuse the ironic quote but she does everything she can and would nt think twice about bending over backwards to please her punters ive never known of any kind of scams going on there in fact all the girls there are real friendly and have never put a foot wrong by me or anyone else that i have seen drinking there id definately recommend this place to anyone who has not drank there
Thanks for the input, Terry. There are always two sides to any story and I’m glad that you weighed in with a positive comment about Jim’s. I walk past there almost every day and there are always guys in there drinking and enjoying the scenery on Soi Diana. It would seem that with so many guys continuing to patronize the place day after day, it could hardly be the rip-off joint as described in the other comments. Honestly, I’ve been steering clear of Jim’s precisely because of the negative comments. But, based upon your recommendation, I guess I’ll stop in this week and check it out again. I’ll let you know how it goes.
I am about to make my 3rd trip to Pattaya and this is my section of town. Reviews for NIB and some others are right on. It has always been slim pickins at the LUCL and JIM’s in my opinion. Billabong hotel and bar on LK Metro is a blast and Greg will make you feel right at home.
Vector, Thanks for your comment. Wait till you see what’s happened up on Soi LK. There are 4 new Go Go bars and plans for 2 more in the near future. Check out Mash A Go Go across the street from Champagne. Then, over by Devil’s Den there are Submarine A Go Go and Kiss A Go Go. On the corner across from Club Blue there is another new one called Sugar Sugar. Soi LK is becoming a major entertainment center in Pattaya. Enjoy your 3rd trip!

I have come across this site by chance and was very interested to read about the problems people had encountered at JIMS BEER BAR. I was in Pattaya for a fortnight in November and I stopped at this bar as I liked the look of one of the girls namely Pla sitting facing the soi. I bought two rounds of drinks which were ticketed at 175 Baht each. After chatting with Pla I decided to take her from the bar. I checked the bin infront of her and calculated that the drinks were 350 Baht and that the bar fine would be 300 Baht thus totalling 650 Baht. I then sent the bin to the cashier who sent Pla back demanding 825 Baht. I then said to Pla that the cashier had charged me for three lots of drinks when we both saw that there was only two tickets in the bin. Pla then told me, you just pay as she hates farangs and likes to make trouble. I kept Pla for the rest of my holiday, but sent her alone everyday to pay the barfine. My advice to everyone is not to use this bar. The cashier is still working a scam on a daily basis.
ok maybe you have had a bad experience there clive but like i say i never have seen anything go on like that and to be fair if i went into any bar in pattaya and got overcharged like that i would not listen to the girl telling me to just pay it id speak to the cashier and ask her to explain my bin what i have been charged for but then again any new bars i go to i always check what tickets are going into my bin as soon as one goes in and once or twice i have been known to question the tickets in my bin and the cashiers who i talk to will talk to the girls and ask them what drinks i have had but like i say i know jim well and i know the cashiers well both of them and they have never shown me any disrespect or have never shown me anything to make me think they hate farangs they are always friendly and up for a laugh and jim herself is a widow to a danish man so i know jim loves farangs coming into her bar
and if you were there around xmas 2011 chances are i would have seen you i got there 2nd december and left 5th january and i drank there everyday
Many thanks for your interesting reply Terry. I don’t doubt that by being a regular at Jims bar, you are treated with respect and in an honest manner when drinking there. Whilst holidaying in Pattaya for the last six years, I had never been in the said bar before; the fact of the matter is that I only went in there because this one particular pretty lady caught my eye at street level. I know categorically that I was scammed hence the reason I never went back again during the holiday. I merely sent the lady to the bar with the 300 Baht barfine on a daily basis. It is a well recognised practice amongst farangs in Pattaya that if you get scammed in a bar, you pay, walk away and pass the message on to others to prevent them from getting caught in the same way. This is what I like the person before me have done and I stand by my advice to other farangs to NOT DRINK IN JIMS BAR, SOI DIANA.

Stay out of the bars the gogo near the end near second road on the same soi as angel witch . The waitresses will rip you off. Make sure you have to helmets if riding with 2 now the police will rip you also better get international driving license because they are not excepting your normal one anymore 17 years here and this has to be the worst year yet bunch of scammers I will be staying far from walking street for remainder of trip . The lady drinks getting sky high .It’s just turning into a shithole and smells like one 2 . I never had much problem as this year it’s bad I think the meth /ice ans yabaa turned this area in to a shithole watch out out there it’s not what it seems to be .
