Well, my friends, another year has come and gone in Pattaya and it’s been another great ride. Many new gorgeous Pattaya girls came to town in 2010 and a few of them were lucky enough to find farang who would take care of them. As we do every New Year, we’d like to say Happy New Year to all of the fine girls that make Pattaya the fantasy land that it is. We hope that they prosper in the coming year and continue to enjoy the Pattaya lifestyle as much as we do.
Last year we saw a few great new gogo bars open up with a bang and witnessed a few closings as well. Sisterz A GoGo closed their doors in June 2010 and in its place The Cavern opened up. The Cavern so far has been a great success. They have some fine looking talent working there, prices are reasonable, and it looks like The Cavern is here to stay.
Sapphire A GoGo opened later in the year. At first it was a bit rocky for the Irish lads that run the place. But with a lot of perseverance and great attention to detail, the management at Sapphire has put together an awesome array of Pattaya Girls that aim to please. They have the nicest short-time rooms in town. It’s a great party venue and it looks like they’re here to stay.
Sakura GoGo was another one of the clubs that closed their doors. It just couldn’t make it on Soi 15 with lots of stiff competition. I was only in there a few times and it just never seemed to get the business it needed to survive.
Towards the end the year, Fahrenheit A Go Go opened with much fanfare right on Walking Street. It’s supposedly run by the same group as Shark and Tiger and those boys obviously know what they’re doing. Fahrenheit has been an instant success. They have some real stunners working there. The girls get naked and everybody has a good old time. I’m sure that Fahrenheit A Go Go will be around for a long time.
The last club to pop up on Walking Street in 2010 was Alcatraz Go Go. They opened in December right next to Fahrenheit. I think the jury’s still out on this one. Alcatraz Go Go is a mammoth place on the inside. As the name implies, its theme is jailhouse. I personally prefer to stay as far away from jails as possible and so I found the interior cold and unwelcome. There’s a second floor entertainment area that’s not as cold, but the girls are still locked in cells. Local ex-pats have been groaning about the high prices and lack of nudity. We’ll have to see how this one pans out. Like all new gogo bars in Pattaya, they’re going to need some time to work out the kinks.
One of our favorite Pattaya Girls, Oi that hot dancer at the Frog Bar moved across the street midway through 2010 and started dancing at the Basilisk Bar instead. She’s been packing them in at Basilisk, but I think she’s on vacation now. I hope she’s back for 2011.
And so we look forward to the coming year with great anticipation and hope. Girls come and girls go in this fair town. I can’t wait to meet the new crop that will arrive in 2011. Who knows what pleasures await? Be sure to check out our latest Pattaya Go Go 2011 ratings. Happy New Year!
