Here’s Your Complete List of Guest Friendly Hotels
First-timers to Pattaya may be surprised to learn that some of the hotels in Pattaya actually discourage you from bringing Pattaya Girls back to your room. They do this by imposing what is known as a “joiner fee”. In other words, these unfriendly hotels will charge you an extra fee when you bring a girl back to your room whether for a short time or overnight. The fee can range anywhere from 500 to 1000 baht. Are you shitting me? That’s more than the bar fine in some gogo bars.
Besides being an unfair and inconvenient charge, it can be down right embarrassing to be stopped by the security guard on your way to the elevator and told that your girl cannot accompany you to your room until the fee is paid. It’s a real bummer. Unfriendly hotels should be avoided.
Fortunately, on the other hand, there are many hotels that don’t mind at all when you bring the Pattaya Girls back to your room. After all, that’s why you came to Pattaya in the first place. These hotels are known as “Girl Friendly” or “Guest Friendly” hotels. There is absolutely no reason to stay at a hotel that is not “girl friendly” and there are plenty of them as you can see from the list below.
A guest friendly hotel will usually require your Pattaya Girl to leave her identification card at the front desk while she is up in your room. This is for security reasons and is a good policy that most girl friendly hotels follow. All of the Pattaya girls are aware of this policy and it is not the least bit inconvenient. The hotel staff at the hotels listed below will treat both you and your guest with respect and dignity.
Before I wrote this post I looked at some other websites out there and I can tell you that there is a lot of bad information floating around regarding the guest friendly hotels. Many of the lists are out-dated. For example, the Pattaya Centre Hotel is widely reported on the internet and nearly every other website as being friendly. The Pattaya Center Hotel is NOT guest friendly. Let me tell you right now, the Pattaya Centre Hotel currently charges a 500 baht joiner fee. Another prime example is the Siam Bayview which IS NOT girl friendly. Siam Bayview currenly charges 1000 baht joiner. So don’t stay there and don’t rely on inaccurate or outdated lists.
To put together this current list, I personally visited each of the hotels reviewed below and I made certain that they are, indeed, “girl friendly”. As you can see from the comments, we are constantly updating the list. So here you have it, my friends, this is the most complete and current list of Pattaya girl friendly hotels that you’ll find anywhere.
The prices are listed in US dollars. High season in Pattaya is from Mid-October through March. There is a “super high” season during the week of Christmas and New Year and prices can double during this week. Prices start to come down in April. The low season is really at a low from May through September and you can get some great deals during these off months. Besides that, hotels are always running deals, so check prices and book your room BEFORE you travel.
Guys, I put a lot of leg work into this list, so do me a favor and book your room using the links on this page. I also found you the booking agent where you can get the lowest prices and best discounts guaranteed through these links.
There are twenty hotels here to choose from. The list starts with the very low priced budget rooms and goes all the way up to the five-star Marriott Resort and Spa. There is a hotel on this list for every taste and every budget. Enjoy your trip to Pattaya!

Thanks for putting this list together…
I stayed at the Nova Platinum Hotel last April during Sokran; it is a decent hotel and the staff were nice, and the massage girls are definitely down for boom boom! With that said… I booked a few nights at this hotel; I will be there in 2 weeks!
Looking forward to being back in Pattaya!
Hi. and thanks for making a interesting site for us newbies coming to Pattaya.
I just wondered if you have knowledge about if Nova Park Service Apartments, located on 2nd street, are girl friendly?
I have to admit that me and my mate have already booked and payed for our apartments, so, if they are not, do you know if its possible to get some of our money back, if we should decide to change hotel?
Best regards
Geir
Gigsen, Sorry, I don’t know anything about the Nova Park. Usually, when you pay in advance you can’t get a refund. Give me a trip report when you get back. If it turns out to be girl friendly, I’ll add it to the list.
Dude, how positive are you that Baboona beach front don’t charge a penny for a bringing a girl back to your room? it’s just i’m about to book and my friend has warned me that their policy may have changed.
SJ, things can always change. I’ll talk with the hotel tomorrow and I’ll report back to you later. Thanks for the comment.
SJ, I just got back from visiting the Baboona Beach Front Living Hotel and the lady at the front desk assured me that they still DO NOT charge an extra fee for bringing a girl back to the room. They only require that the girls leave their Id cards at the front desk while they are visiting the room. So, that confirms it, as of today the Babbona is still a Pattaya Girl friendly hotel and I’ll keep it on the list. Do me a favor and book your room through my link.
HI,
Do you know anything about pent house hotel in pattaya. i am planning to go over there in july.i saw their website pretty interesting and read some blogs also.i would like to know you opinion on this. Thanks
Sonu, Sorry, my friend, I don’t know anything about this Hotel.
My friend could you please confirm for me whether LK Royal Suite Pattaya or Tim Boutique Hotel still adopts the girl friendly policy or not?
Gr8 website !
Cheers
Martin, yes, both of these hotels are still girl friendly with no hassles. Between these two, I prefer the Tim Boutique because it has a much better location. Book through my link and you’ll get a nice discount. Enjoy your trip.
Does anyone know if the Bassaya beach hotel is still girl freindly
Hello
I just wanted to confirm before making my booking that is dusitD2 baraquda pattaya hotel still guest friendly? Also I am looking to book a single Deluxe room for me & my cousins so if a guest decide to join us for a full night will they charge us extra for her to stay with us ?
If you can confirm this for me from the hotel staff i’ll definitely use your link to make the booking.
Cheers
Rx,
OK, I just got back from the Dusit D2 Baraquda. When I went in, there was one person working at the front desk. His name was Seksan Rayacherd and his nickname is “Harry”. He speaks fluent English. Harry assured me that there is absolutely NO CHARGE to bring a girl up to your room. So, as of today, the D2 Baraquda is still Pattaya Girl Friendly. Enjoy your trip!
Thanks for d info mike. It’s much appreciated.
What abt my second query. Will they allow three persons (me, my cousin & bar girl) to stay over night at my room with out any charge bez there is only one king size bed in the room but we can manage that unless it’s a issue with the hotel.
Rx, It’s no problem for your threesome. The hotel is cool with it.
Hi, We are planning to visit pattaya on May 3rd week, Its our first visit, so pls give some idea, we are planning to book rooms in sunshine hotel and residency, Pls give us the latest news, IS this hotel is girls friendly hotel???
Hey love the pen cam pal, never been to Thailand heard lots though, i’m booked and ready go, just like to check about girl friendly hotels is the Amari Orchid cool with this ? cheers for the info !!
ralphie, the Amari Orchid is NOT FRIENDLY. The last I heard they charge 1000 baht joiner fee. If you want a high-end quality hotel that’s girl friendly, go for the Marriott or the Dusit D2 Baraquda. Enjoy your trip.
BJ, Yes, the Sunshine Hotel is still girl friendly.
Just spend a couple days at LK Metropole. Nice hotel but service a bit slack. Asked for new towels mid-day and still no towels that night. Luckly the girls didn’t care.
No problem taking one girl back to room but when I showed up with 2 (hey, it was my birthday, what can I say) they wanted a 500 bht fee for the 2nd “guest”. They have a sign on the desk saying they charge for extra guests, so I wasn’t totally surprised but a bit disappointed. Have now changed hotels abd still enjoying the area. Woohoo!!
Can’t seem to edit these comments so excuse the spelling. Cheers.
onaroll, thanks for your comment and the update on the LK Metropole. I just went around to the other LK Hotels to check on them as well. It turns out that all of the LK Hotels in Pattaya are now charging extra for the second girl. I guess you could say that they’re “half friendly”
Hey people!
I am planning to go to pattaya in may…i have some questions:
first – is it a good season to be there
second- i know there wont be any joiner fee if i bring back a bar girl back to my room in any of the above mentioned hotels ….but what if i bring back another girl in the evening or after some time to my room.will they charge me the next time or no joiner fee evr…please clear
ted,
As far as I’m concerned, there’s no bad season to be here. It’s all good. All of the hotels above will let you run girls in and out of your room all day and night as many times as you want. No problem, no fee. The only exception are the LK hotels. They will charge you 500 baht for the second girl. Enjoy your trip.
Hi Mike,
I have heard that none of the Sawasdee chain of hotels charge a joiner fee. Can you please confirm this?
Thanks,
AJames
No joiner fees at Sawasdee hotels. They are all girl friendly.
That was the topic needed on your page!!! Great work Mike:)!
Bart, thanks for the compliment. Hopefully, this post will help a lot of guys find the right hotel.
Hi pal, u said that sunshine hotel and residence is girl friendly, does the hotel keep the girl’s ID? I email the hotel enquiring about this but I still have not receive any reply yet..
MichaelSng, The Sunshine Hotel is still girl friendly. When you bring a girl back to your room, you’ll just have to stop at the front desk and drop off the girls ID. There is no extra fee. When she leaves, she’ll get her ID back. All of the girl friendly hotels follow this policy.
Hi mike..thanks a lot for your wonderful reviews. really helpful.
i am planning for pattaya end of april and the hotel ive chosen is Tim boutique. It seems a like the perfect hotel for me and my friends
however in some reviews ive heard people saying that construction work is going on and the sound is really annoying
is the construction work still on??
if not i’m definetly booking that hotel through your link.cheers
Cassanova, Things are quiet at the Tim Boutique. No construction. Enjoy your trip.
Hi Mike, love your site my son and I are planning to go to pattaya in october, I was thinking of staying at Sandy Spring Hotel and have been in contact with them, do you know if they are guest friendly and is it a nice place?
Ron, sorry, I’m not familiar with this place.
4hourMike, Hi I posted a question on one of these pages but can’t find it. I am coming to Thailand in Sept 2012 for 6 months and plan on staying in Pattaya and maybe 1 month in Bangkok. I have looked at lots of the posts here and still have questions. Are the girls checked for STD’s if so at what places and where? WOuld it be possible to meet you perhaps to show me arround for a day since I will be traveling alone and have never been to Thailand? If not what is your best suggestion for someone traveling alone on how to avoid trouble in Pattaya? Any advise you can give me that I have not asked for will be appreciated.
Thank you.
John, You previously posted your questions at How to Open a Bank Account in Pattaya. So, go visit that post. I’ve tried to answer your questions there. I’ve also added some good links for you to follow to get more info on becoming an ex-pat in Pattaya.
Regarding the STD tests, most of the Go Go bars test their girls monthly for HIV. The safest thing is to just use a condom. All of the girls will insist upon them anyway.
Hi Mike. Back after spending 3weeks in Pattaya, and must admit that this was my best vacation ever!
We stayed at Nova Park, wich are a very good hotel, nice staff, and a clean hotel, as they even do the dishes for you every day, without extra charge. When u bring a girl, there is no question, nor extra fees. Location, is maybe a bit far from the beachroad, and it will take about 12-15mins to walk down there! But outside the hotel, there is mc`s taxies, that will bring you down to the beach for 40bath`s, and its a 5min ride!
Geir, thanks for the report. I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. I’ll be adding the Nova Park to the list above. Sounds like a nice place.
thanks mike.. very informative posts…. keep up the good work..
I am in Pattaya, any body can tell me any real escort girl address or agency or contact number? email?
I need to bring into my room.
Xobi, just head down to Walking Street tonight and take your pick.
As far as the HIV comment, it takes on average 3 to 6 months for HIV antibodies to show up on the standard test. So even though some places may test every month, it’s really not that useful for you if you walk in and pick up a girl who contracted it from someone 1-3 months ago. This is also the period when it’s easiest to catch it, and if you’re a young clean cut guy like me in your 20′s or 30′s these girls just assume you’re clean and many of them have asked me not to use a condom even though I used one anyways. Some actually get offended. Also there’s the risk of HPV (genital warts) which is now the most common cause of oral cancer and can cause other types of cancers as well. So people need to stop downplaying the risks out here because a lot of newbies just aren’t aware of these things. Pattaya can be a lot of fun but just know what you’re getting into.
CJ, excellent comment. Thanks for pointing that out.
I stayed at Amari Nova Suits, and can confirm it´s very girl friendly
im going to pattaya in May, ive booked accommodation and the siam bayview resort. Can you please confirm that it is girl friendly and that they dont charge joiner fees ? thanks
travdog, The Siam Bayview is NOT Pattaya Girl Friendly. They charge 1000 baht joiner fee.
Hi
Am coming to Pattaya for the first time in June, just wish I’d seen this site before making my booking though!
I had booked the Amari Orchid but since reading this am trying to see if I can change it but my only options are the Dusit Thani or the Pullman Aisawan, do you have any info on them about joiner fees etc?
Any info gratefully received
Mel, The Dusit Thani and the Pullman are NOT girl friendly and they charge a 1000 baht joiner fee. If you want a first class hotel that is girl friendly, you should book at either the Dusit D2 or the Marriott. Use the above links to book and you’ll get a discount.
Many thank for the response, sadly I’m tied in through an agent and have already paid so basically I’m screwed then
Ah well, lesson learned for the future, will definitely keep an eye on this site now though.
Cheers
Mel
Can you tell me if the Flipper Lodge is still girl friendly.I’m going there in May.
Any info on the hotel would be welcome
Paul, Yes Flipper is still girl friendly.
