Let’s talk about Pattaya Freelancers. In case you’re not familiar with the term, the Pattaya freelancers are the independent working girls that are not employed by any entertainment venue, beer bar, or go go. They’re entrepreneurs, so to speak. They set their own price and hours and work when they want and where they want. Actually, they’re some of the most interesting girls in Pattaya. They’re also the cheapest when it comes to sex.
You can find the Pattaya freelancers almost anywhere in town. In fact, sometimes it seems like all the girls in Pattaya will turn a trick every now and then. I’ve met freelancers who used to work at Big C. I’ve met freelancers who still work at 7/11, and even Starbucks. They’re everywhere.
If you spot a gorgeous girl in Pattaya who is dressed to kill and is wearing fancy high heeled shoes, chances are pretty good that she’ll go with you if you ask. If you’re not sure, just ask her, “Hi, do you go with farang?” If she’s not a freelancer, she’ll just tell you “no”. But chances are pretty good in Pattaya that she’ll say, “Yes, I go with you.”
The main location where these freelance girls come to work is the promenade along Beach Road, better known as the Coconut Bar. Now here, there’s no doubt about it. If she’s standing alone, dressed nicely, and watching men as they pass by, you can be sure she’s a freelancer. Most of them will look you straight in the eyes, smile, and say, “Hello, I go with you.” On the other hand, some of them hold back and wait for you to make the first move.
Picking up these talented Pattaya girls is easy, so there’s no need to be shy or apprehensive about approaching a freelance girl. Just walk right up to the one you like and start with “Hello”. The girls will take it from there. I’ve filmed a couple of videos about the girls and you can see them in action in Volume 1 or Volume 2 of the Pattaya Freelancer Videos.
I started out this post by mentioning that the freelancers set their own prices. That’s not entirely true. You see, the going rate is 500 baht for a “short time” with a freelancer. All of the girls charge the same and every punter in Pattaya knows that 500 baht is the price. Now, if you look and act like you just got off the plane and you’ve never been with a girl before, then they might ask for more. I’ve overheard girls asking for 600 baht from a newbie. But in the end, they always settle for 500 baht.
In all honesty, there are also some real hags down at Beach Road. There are some fat old women down there that are scary, they’re so ugly. Nevertheless, even a blind hog gets an acorn every now and then and these hags occasionally get picked up. I have witnessed falling-down-drunk old guys negotiating with these old hags and I’ve heard prices quoted as low as 300 baht. So, lower prices are possible, but you get what you pay for.
On the whole, there are some very attractive girls down at the Coconut Bar. Most of the really gorgeous girls will only take you for a “short time”. They want to get back out there on the street. The good looking ones can turn several tricks in a night and they can make a lot of money. Don’t expect them to hang around after you’ve “finished”. You cum, they go.
Remember to use good sense if you take a freelancer back to your hotel. These girls come and go and can vanish from town in an instant. You have no recourse. So, make sure your valuables are stored in a safe place and that you’re not carrying a lot of cash. Also, don’t ingest any food or drink that the girl offers you. There have been cases of guys being drugged and ripped-off by freelance girls. It’s certainly not the norm, but it does happen occasionally.
Make sure you agree on the price and details before you go back to the room. Bart’s friend Matt had his night ruined by an aggressive freelancer. Don’t let it happen to you. Follow a few basic precautions and you’ll have a fantastic time. Go for it and enjoy.

Yes, you can get a freelancer almost anywhere in Pattaya. Two trips back, I was staying in a guest house next to soi 7. After taking a shower I realised that I did not take my toothbrush. Off I go to 7/11 (at the end of soi 7 and second road) to buy it. I was really tired and wasn’t bothered to look for it so I simply asked a girl behind a counter (mid 20s, darker skin and long hair) about it. As she had no idea what is a toothbrush I moved a few times my finger horizontally across my teeth. Boy, was I surprised hearing 400B! I thought that the price seems a bit excessive (8-9 quid!) so I asked her where to find it and she simply stretched out her hand and said: ‘Me do’! Yes, my brain was totally lagging so it took me a few seconds to realise that while I was talking about a toothbrush to clean my teeth, she was thinking about me brushing hers! Unfotrunately, when I realised that, her friend (another shop assistant) aproached and, being embarrassed, she pointed where toothrbushes were! So, always expect unexpected my friends!!!
Secondly, if you are not a ‘hansum man’ like me, or you just look like a newbie, she may quote more than 500B! Don’t worry, just find another one. Just make sure you both agree about the price!!!

Had a great time as an American the very first time I visited. Have been there 4 times to Pattya. I was shocked at first but quickly got the swing of things. My friend Paul is there right at this very moment. Plan on going back as soon as I can. Have grown very tired of the women here in the states.. A visit to Bangkok changes a man’s outlook on life, in a positive way once u go to a place like Pattya. I have had countless girls there, on each visit. To the point of not being able to even get excited, but the pleasure of a beautiful woman by your side changes your whole thoughts about women and how they should treat a man..LOVED the whole experience :-/)

Thinking about moving here on a medical retirement. My income would be about $3,000.00 us a month. Any comments on where would be a good place to live? Also how much woud a live in lady be? Cooking, cleaning and of course fun.
Markaol, You should have no problem living on $3,000 USD as long as you aren’t out partying every night. Stay off Walking Street and your money will go a long way. All of the girls are looking for someone to “take care” of them, which basically means that you’ll have to be sending some money up to their family in Isaan every month. That could be anywhere from $200 – $500 a month depending on the girl. The go go girls will want a lot more. Take a look around the beer bars where the girls are much cheaper. Also check out the ThaiLoveLinks site where you’ll find plenty of girls for free.
As far as accommodations go, you’ll have more fun if you stay in Central Pattaya. Do a google search of “Pattaya serviced apartments”. I recommend that you come to Pattaya first. Book a room at a budget hotel for a week. That will give you plenty of time to look around and find a “long stay” room that you like.

Hi all I’m off to pattaya next month first time there been to Phuket many times. Where is the best place to stay around 600 bht per night on the beach and close to the action with this hotel being girl friendly . Any suggestions?
Andrew, the closest hotel to the beach in your price range is the It’s just about a half a block from the beach in a great location. Completely girl friendly.
