First-timers to Pattaya may be surprised to learn that some of the hotels in Pattaya actually discourage you from bringing Pattaya Girls back to your room. They do this by imposing what is known as a “joiner fee”. In other words, these unfriendly hotels will charge you an extra fee when you bring a girl back to your room whether for a short time or overnight. The fee can range anywhere from 500 to 1000 baht. Are you shitting me? That’s more than the bar fine in some gogo bars.

Besides being an unfair and inconvenient charge, it can be down right embarrassing to be stopped by the security guard on your way to the elevator and told that your girl cannot accompany you to your room until the fee is paid. It’s a real bummer. Unfriendly hotels should be avoided.

Fortunately, on the other hand, there are many hotels that don’t mind at all when you bring the Pattaya Girls back to your room. After all, that’s why you came to Pattaya in the first place. These hotels are known as “Girl Friendly” or “Guest Friendly” hotels. There is absolutely no reason to stay at a hotel that is not “girl friendly” and there are plenty of them as you can see from the list below.

A guest friendly hotel will usually require your Pattaya Girl to leave her identification card at the front desk while she is up in your room. This is for security reasons and is a good policy that most girl friendly hotels follow. All of the Pattaya girls are aware of this policy and it is not the least bit inconvenient. The hotel staff at the hotels listed below will treat both you and your guest with respect and dignity.

Before I wrote this post I looked at some other websites out there and I can tell you that there is a lot of bad information floating around regarding the guest friendly hotels. Many of the lists are out-dated.  For example, the Pattaya Centre Hotel is widely reported on the internet and nearly every other website as being friendly. The Pattaya Center Hotel is NOT guest friendly. Let me tell you right now, the Pattaya Centre Hotel currently charges a 500 baht joiner fee. So don’t stay there and don’t rely on inaccurate or outdated lists.

To put together this current list, I personally visited each of the hotels reviewed  below and I made certain that they are, indeed, “girl friendly”. So here you have it, my friends, this is the most complete and current list of Pattaya girl friendly hotels that you’ll find anywhere.

The prices are listed in US dollars. High season in Pattaya is from Mid-October through March. There is a “super high” season during the week of Christmas and New Year and prices can double during this week. Prices start to come down in April. The low season is really at a low from May through September and you can get some great deals during these off months. Besides that, hotels are always running deals, so check prices and book your room BEFORE you travel.

	Sawasdee Sunshine Hotel HIGH SEASON $24 / LOW SEASON $20 This hotel is the king of the budget hotels in Pattaya. They don’t come any cheaper than this one. It’s located on Soi 11 right across the street from the famous Honey Body Massage. Talk about convenience, this hotel has it. Like I said, it’s budget all the way. The rooms aren’t that great but at least they’re clean. Bart and his friends stayed here in 2011 and had no complaints.
	Sawasdee Sabai Hotel HIGH SEASON $25 / LOW SEASON $20 Another one in the Sawasdee lineup. This hotel is one block closer to Central Plaza Shopping than the others. Same deal, different location. Check the rates on this hotel because sometimes in off season they have deals as low as $18 per night.
	Sawasdee Seaview Hotel   Our Favorite Budget Hotel! HIGH SEASON $31 / LOW SEASON $20 This one’s my personal favorite in the budget lineup. It’s just a short walk from the beach. It’s perfect for you guys who like the Beach Road freelancers. The rooms aren’t much, but at this price who cares. They finally finished construction on Soi 10, so there’s no problem getting to and from the beach. Plus… you get free breakfast in the morning.
	Sawasdee Siam Hotel HIGH SEASON: $36 USD / LOW SEASON: $20 USD The Sawasdee chain of hotels is the leader in the Budget Class in Pattaya. They’re not fancy, but for what we use them for, you can’t beat the price. This hotel is located on Soi Buakhao right down from Soi LK Entertainment area. Easy Baht bus access to Walking Street. There’s even a pool.
	Welcome Plaza Hotel HIGH SEASON $36 / LOW SEASON $27 Here’s a value hotel located within walking distance of Walking Street. It sets back off Pattaya 2 Road, on the opposite side of Pattaya Land entertainment area.  This is a big old place with 269 rooms. You can’t beat the price for the location. They charge extra for internet and there’s no in-room WIFI. There’s a pool and it’s not that far from the beach.
	Sabai Lodge HIGH SEASON $40 / LOW SEASON $30 This hotel is way up at the north end of Beach Road located on Soi 2. It’s certainly convenient to the beach. Also, just walking distance from the famed Soi 6 promenade of short time bars. If you prefer the north end of Pattaya, this is a good bet and the price is reasonable.
	LK Royal Suite HIGH SEASON $47 / LOW SEASON $40 This hotel is located in a quiet area close to the intersection of Soi Buakhao and Central Pattaya Road. If you prefer a hotel that’s slightly away from all of the action, then this might work for you. There is easy Baht Bus access to Walking Street.
	Areca Lodge HIGH SEASON $58 / LOW SEASON $52 Areca Lodge is situated right in the middle of the action in the Soi Diana Entertainment Area. Many of our site visitors have stayed here and it’s easy to see why. Step out of your hotel and you’re instantly in the middle of some of the best beer bars in Pattaya, as well as the popular Soi LK entertainment area where you’ll find no less than 7 Pattaya Go Go bars. You’ll have no problem finding a pretty Pattaya Girl close by. The hotel sits back from the street so you don’t have to worry about the noise.
	Baboona Beach Front Living Hotel HIGH SEASON $58 / LOW SEASON $52 The name says it all. This hotel is located right on Beach Road, but it’s way up north between Soi 3 and 4. Some of the more pricier rooms here have balconies with sea views. It’s walking distance from the Soi 6 sex playground. This is a nice boutique hotel with only 40 rooms. There’s free wifi and a fitness gym as well.
	Sunshine Hotel and Residence HIGH SEASON $59 / LOW SEASON $44 Here’ a mid-range hotel that’s located right in the middle of the entertainment action that happens on Soi 7 and Soi 8. Some of the rooms can be affected by the noise, so get one in the back to avoid this problem. There are 3 swimming pools and 2 fitness centers.
	Sunshine Garden Resort HIGH SEASON $70 / LOW SEASON $45 This one is located clear up north by the roundabout. It’s too far north for my personal taste, but for those of you who want a room away from the crowds and action, then this is for you. The pool area is incredible. They offer bungalows as well as rooms.
	LK Metropole HIGH SEASON $72 / LOW SEASON $53 This is the hotel that actually started the LK Metro Entertainment area. Soi LK is directly behind the hotel. There are seven go go bars including Champagne A Go Go and numerous beer bars on this small Soi. Besides that, it just a half block away from the famous Devil’s Den. This is one of the best mid-range hotels for those who like to party with the girls. There’s also easy Baht Bus access to Walking Street.
	Mercure Pattaya Hotel HIGH SEASON $74 / LOW SEASON $65 This hotel is somewhat inconveniently located, but they offer a free tuk-tuk service to and from Walking Street. Some punters prefer this because it’s quiet. There’s an amazing pool bar here.
	Nova Platinum Hotel HIGH SEASON $74 / LOW SEASON $64 This up scale mid-range hotel is located to the south of Walking Street, but still within walking distance. The Baht Buses also run directly in front of the hotel so transportation isn’t a problem. According to one of our site visitors, the Nova Platinum has an excellent in-house massage service and the girls will boom boom for a slight extra fee!
	Tim Boutique Hotel HIGH SEASON $75 / LOW SEASON $50 Here’s a hotel that is brought to you by the owners of the famous Tim Bar on Pattaya 2 Road. In fact, the hotel is right around the corner from Tim’s combination beer bar/gogo bar/pool hall. Tim Boutique is a very up-scale operation and that is reflected in the price. The rooms are expensive but the service and location is great. There’s a pool on the roof. Downside is that they charge extra for wifi. What’s up with that?
	LK Renaissance Hotel Our Favorite Mid-Range Hotel! HIGH SEASON $76 / LOW SEASON $63 The LK Brand has a good reputation in Pattaya. All of their hotels offer a high standard of service, but the LK Renaissance definitely has the best location. It’s right in the middle of the Soi Diana Entertainment Area. There are three good hotels on this street but this one is our favorite. It’s right down the street from Kiss Food and Drink, which is another plus. There is also an on-site massage service and jacuzzi bath tubs.
	Page 10 Hotel HIGH SEASON $88 / LOW SEASON $69 Page 10 is one of the newest hotels in Pattaya. Construction was completed just last year. The rooms are immaculate and the service is good. It’s located right on the corner of Soi 10 and Pattaya 2 Road which is a great location. Try to get a room on the back side of the building to avoid the noise from the live shows at Orn Bar across the street. Also, this hotel should currently be avoided due to construction on Soi 10
	Siam Bayview Hotel HIGH SEASON $130 / LOW SEASON $114 This is a top-end hotel with access from both Pattaya 2 Road and Beach Road. It’s located just down the street from Central Plaza at Soi 10. There’s a nice pool that’s shaded most of the day.
	Dusit D2 Baraquda HIGH SEASON $155 / LOW SEASON $145 All of the Dusit line of Hotels in Thailand are 5-star first class hotels and the D2 Baraquda is no exception. This hotel is ideally situated for punters on the prowl. It’s right on Second Road at the intersection of Soi 13/1 (Soi Post Office). There are many popular beer bars on the opossite side of the street and it’s close to Walking Street as well. You’ll be treated right when you stay here and it’s hassle free with the Pattaya Girls.
	Marriott Resort and Spa – Our Favorite Top-End Hotel! HIGH SEASON $216 / LOW SEASON $177 This hotel has it all. If you can afford it, the Marriott Resort is the best place to stay in Pattaya. It’s just a short walk to Walking Street and the beach. The pool here is incredible. More importantly, they will pamper your Pattaya Girl. Read our full Marriott review for more information.

Road construction is complete right up to the entrance of Sawasdee Sea View and that’s where it ends. You can walk back and forth to the beach with no problem as far as that. After the Sawasdee Sea View, the road conditions start to deteriorate. It’s sand and gravel all the way past the Eastiny Hotel up to Pattaya 2 Road.  If you’re a guest in a hotel at this end of the street, it sucks.

Once you get within the vicinity of the main entrance to Page 10, you’ve arrived at a major construction zone. As of today, there is a huge hole in the street that is at least 10 feet deep right in front of the hotel. Heavy equipment is working right outside the entrance to the Page 10 Hotel as I write this.

Earlier today I checked the rates at Page 10 Hotel. They are currently charging a whopping 3,500 baht per night during this current week which happens to be Chinese New Year. I don’t know about you, but I’ll be damned if I’ll pay those rates to stay in a construction zone.

Obviously the Page 10 Hotel is not at fault here. They certainly have no control over construction on Soi 10.But if you’re one of our site visitors who has a reservation at Page 10, you need to know about this before you spoil your trip to Pattaya. Do yourself a favor and book a room somewhere else until construction is completed on Soi 10.  I’m guessing March at the earliest.

This hotel may very well be the best deal in Pattaya. It’s located right on Pattaya Soi 8 just a half block from the beach. The facilities are amazing for this price range. They have 188 rooms and some of the rooms even have a view of Pattaya Bay. It’s no wonder that a lot of punters keep coming back year after year.

Pattaya Soi 8 is right in the heart of the action. There are bunches of beer bars all up and down the Soi as well as a couple of Pattaya go go bars. The whole Soi 7 & Soi 8 corridor rocks with activity at night. The location is also convenient to Walking Street. Just walk a half block down to Beach Road and catch the baht bus straight in. It takes all of 5 minutes.

The Sunshine Hotel and Residence has two swimming pools, two restaurants and a bar. One of the restaurants stays open until 3 am. and offers room service for you late-nighters.

If you’re going to be in town for more than a week, the Sunshine has somewith free days thrown in depending upon the length of your stay. Of course, it’s Pattaya girl friendly.

This popular hotel offers top-end amenities at a mid-range price. It’s quite impressive and my favorite hotel in this part of town. The standard rooms are luxurious. They have a spacious pool area for daytime lounging with your Pattaya girlfriend. Besides that, there’s a modern exercise facility that includes spa and massage services. Everything at the LK Metropole is first class. The restaurant has good room service and the staff is super friendly. Breakfast is included in the room price. It’s hard to believe you can get all this at around 1800 baht.

We say that they’re girl friendly because they don’t charge you extra when you bring a girl back to your room. The extra charge is referred to as a joiner fee. We recommend that you avoid hotels that charge a joiner fee. There are just way too many good hotels that don’t charge this fee.

The Sawasdee Sea View Hotel is just a half block away from the beach heading up Soi 10. It has a great location, close to the beach. This budget hotel gets great reviews from everyone who stays there. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. You’ll have no trouble bringing the girls back here anytime day or night. They have a restaurant on premises and free breakfast is included with the room. They have wireless internet but there is a fee to use it.

The Bay Breeze Hotel is a Pattaya Girl friendly hotel

The Bay Breeze Hotel is a great place to stay with your Pattaya girlfriend. It’s one of many Pattaya hotels that cater to single men who are on holiday and who don’t want to be hassled about having girls up to the room.

The staff at the Bay Breeze is completely understanding when it comes to sharing your room with a Pattaya girl. The front desk clerks as well as the bell staff treat the Pattaya girls with courtesy and respect. There is no extra charge to have an overnight guest in your room.

The Bay Breeze is ideally situated just off of Pattaya 2 on Soi 10 (also know as Soi Honey). I personally like this part of town because it’s central to everything. It’s about midway between Soi 6 and Walking Street.

When you stay here you have easy access to the LK Metro entertainment district and the many beer bars that are located on Soi Dianna. Club Oasis and Club Blu are both within easy walking distance.

Just down the street from the Bay Breeze is the Central Festival Shopping Mall. A little further down on Pattaya 2 are the bars and gogo bars of Soi 7 and Soi 8.

Walking Street is not that far away either, although you might want to take one of the many “song theaw” that run on beach road. I think it’s fun to go down to Beach Road and walk along the beachfront promenade that leads on into the Walking Street area. A lot of guys think that’s too far to walk, but I like to take my time and size up the many freelancers that come down to the beach at sunset.

The Bay Breeze is a mid-range Pattaya hotel with rooms as low as 600 baht per night in low season. In high season the price goes up to 800 baht. Rates during the Christmas Holiday go all the way up to 1000 baht per night for a standard room. Very reasonable weekly and monthly rates are also available. The Bay Breeze also provides free wifi internet access to guests.

The Bay Breeze has slowly and quietly been going through a renovation. The last time I stayed, there were a few rooms on each floor that were undergoing remodeling. When you check in you should ask about the current location of rooms that are being worked on. Try to get a room away from the construction.

The rooms that have completed their renovations are 100-200 baht more than the old style rooms. I found the old style rooms quite comfortable. The walls are thick and I’ve never had problems with noise from other guests.

The Bay Breeze has a swimming pool that is located on the third floor. It’s fun to buy your Pattaya girl a new bikini and let her try it out at the pool. Actually, not many guests take advantage of the pool and there is plenty of opportunity to fool around in the pool with your girlfriend of the day.

All in all, the Bay Breeze is one of best mid-range Pattaya girl friendly hotels in town and I recommend it.

Most tourists arrive between December and March.  It’s becoming increasingly difficult to find accommodations during this peak period and you should definitely book your room in advance of your departure.  Otherwise, you’ll be at the mercy of Pattaya’s notorious taxi drivers and other such touts.  If you’re not exactly sure where you want to stay, book of room at one of our recommended hotels for just a couple of days.  That way you can arrive safe and sound and then have a look around town before making your final decision.

The main Pattaya beach offers all of the usual recreational amenities such as jet skiing, parasailing, scuba diving expeditions, and sun loungers.  It’s also right next to the main nightlife entertainment area where the famous Pattaya girls can be found in abundance.

Needless to say, there are accommodations in Pattaya to suit every budget.  The starting point for a basic comfortable room with nothing but a fan is around 500 baht, if you’re budget minded.

Very nice air-conditioned rooms can be had in a three or four star hotel for between 1000 baht and 2000 baht.  This class of hotel is where most of the guys stay, who are on a mission to meet the girls of Pattaya.  Many nice hotels in this price range can be found within walking distance of the beer bars, go-go clubs, and restaurants of the Pattaya entertainment district.

If you’re looking for something more upscale, you’ll want to stay south of Pattaya on Jomtien beach.  The world-class resorts of Jomtien charge world-class prices, and can be a little touchy when it comes to bringing a girl from Pattaya back to your room.  Keep in mind that many families stay in the Jomtien area, so you should be more discreet about your comings and goings if you choose to stay in that area.

If this is your first visit to Pattaya.  It’s more fun to stay right in central Pattaya.  All of the hotels in this area will be fully aware that you intend to bring Pattaya girls back to your room.  In many such hotels, breakfast for two is complementary in the mornings.

There are some hotels, especially the top end ones, that will charge you extra when you bring a girl from Pattaya entertainment district back with you.  The extra charge ranges from 300 to 500 baht.  You should take this into consideration before you decide to stay in one of these hotels.  We don’t recommend them.  It can make for an awkward situation late at night.

You should feel completely comfortable bringing your new Pattaya girlfriend back to your room.  We have checked out the hotels for you and only recommend a hotel where bringing back a companion is a completely normal occurrence.  That way you can save yourself the embarrassment.

Hotel safety: all of our recommended hotels offer in-room safes of the variety where you can set the combination yourself.  If you happen to be traveling with your laptop, you can leave it at the front desk when you are out on the town.

As an added security benefit.  Most hotels will take down your Thai companion’s ID information.  Some of the better places go to the extra step and actually keep the girl’s ID document, while she’s staying with you.  This is a basic security measure and something that you should be looking for when choosing accommodation.
