Balloons signaled a party at Nid Beer Bar last night.

Pattaya girls hung red and white balloons at Nid Beer Bar on Sunday night to let people know about the party they were having. Besides the balloons, they had an entire pig roasting on a spit out in front of the bar. This Pattaya girl party was celebrating the marriage of one of Nid’s bar girls.

Not only was the lucky bar girl getting married, she was getting married to a “farang”. So, it was quite a big deal and all of the Nid Beer Bar girls were a good mood and ready to party. The event kicked off in the early evening around 8 pm and continued into the wee hours of the morning.

Nid beer bar is located on Soi 13 east of Pattaya 2 Road. It’s housed in a complex that has a total of six Pattaya beer bars in it. Nid Beer Bar is the second one in from the right hand side of the complex.

The Pattaya girls of Nid Beer Bar are a livily bunch and last night was no exception. They had two girls up on the stage pole dancing during most of the party. The place was jam packed with customers and lady drinks were flowing like water. So, how could they not be in a playful mood.

Around 8:30 pm one generous guy from the wedding party rang the bell signaling free drinks for all. They started serving out the roast pork and things began to really rev up.

Whenever you’re in Pattaya, it pays to seek out these beer bar parties. The only way to find out about them is to look for the balloons. When you spot the balloons, you need to drop whatever you’re doing and drop into the bar. It’s always a good time and the bar girls are always more playful.

Sometimes they’ll hang a sign out in front of the bar in advance, maybe a day or two before. Keep a look out for these signs. They always have free food and it seems like somebody always rings the bell.

Nid Beer Bar has some decent looking bar girls. Most of them speak at least a little English. The bar fine is only 300 baht. The Nid bar girls come in all shapes and sizes, so you’re sure to find one that’s a fit.

Next time you’re strolling down Soi 13, stop into Nid Beer Bar for a drink and a chat with the girls. This entire Pattaya beer bar complex really gets rocking around 11pm on most nights.

There was a party on Walking Street Thursday evening, this one thrown by the Pattaya girls of Airport Go-Go. The smell of roasting pork permeated the air in front of Airport Go-Go as girls in stewardess costumes shuttled pork dinners inside for customers at this popular Pattaya go-go.

Airport Go-Go has the reputation of having some of the best looking girls in Pattaya working there. Thursday’s lineup of beautiful girls was no exception. The combination of gorgeous Pattaya girls combined with roast pork dinner proved to be too much temptation for passing punters. Airport Go Go was packed with customers as a result.

The girls of Airport Club had two huge roasting pits set up right out in front of the entrance with two whole pigs cooking over them. I asked the Airport girls what the occasion was and they responded that it was just a staff party. It sure did draw a lot of attention for just a staff party.

Meanwhile, inside Airport Go Go the scene was outstanding as usual. They had their main stage cranking with ten beautiful dancers, some of them dancing topless which is always a pleasure to see.

Farther back into the go go bar, they had the Jacuzzi cranked up and the Pattaya girls were totally nude sudsing their beautiful bodies with the help of punters lucky enough to have a seat close up.

As if that wasn’t enough, the back stage at Airport Go Go was full of naked girls doing all sorts of naughty things.

In the midst of all this revelry, customers were stuffing their faces with roast pork and throwing back draft beers like there was no tomorrow. Let’s hope Airport Go Go makes this a regular weekly event. It was definitely the best place to be on Thursday evening.

By 10 pm the girls in the stewardess outfits had the whole street cleaned up, the roasting pits removed, and everything was back to normal.

Pattaya 2 Road was closed down last night because of a fire at Welcome Plaza

There’s never a dull moment in Pattaya and last night was no exception.  Reports of fire at an art shop near the Welcome Plaza Hotel caused police to close off Pattaya 2 Road right at the busy intersection of South Pattaya Rd. The event happened around 9:45 pm on Thursday night and traffic wasn’t restored until 10:30 pm.

Punters with their Pattaya girlfriends in toe were perplexed by the closing. Ordinarily, Pattaya 2 is the main thoroughfare heading north to the hotels. The intersection where the road was blocked is usually a good spot to hop on a baht bus with a Pattaya girl and head for home.

Tourists were left with their mouths hanging open, not knowing which way to go or where to head. Most tourists are familiar with the north/south route that the baht buses normally take. But with the closure, people were reluctant to take the more adventurous detour routes, not knowing where they might end up.

Traffic was diverted east on South Pattaya Road which quickly became a mess. Most punters ducked into nearby beer bars to await the street’s reopening.

Meanwhile, fire trucks and police were dispatched to the art shop near Welcome Plaza to fight the blaze. There was quite a commotion in front of the hotel. Apparently, a lot of merchandise was destroyed in the fire before firefighters were able to gain control. Fortunately, no one was injured in the mishap and the street was reopened allowing traffic to resume its normal pattern.

Pattaya firefighters were quick to arrive at the scene.

If you’re looking for a Pattaya go go where there is absolutely no pressure to buy lady drinks and the ladies don’t come by unless they’re called, then this is the gogo bar for you.

A lot of complaints have been made about go go bars where the Pattaya girls hassle you for drinks. How many times have you gone into a bar in Pattaya and as soon as you sit down, some hag comes up and plops her ass down beside you and immediately asks for a lady drink? Then there are the places where the mamasan tries to hook you up with one girl or another within five minutes of your coming through the door.

It’s definitely NOT like that at Heaven Above. This is one Pattaya go go where you can relax and enjoy the show with no hassle. Not one Pattaya girl at Heaven Above will sit with you unless you ask her to. They don’t push drinks on you either. This place is truly heaven in that regard.

Take the Stairway to Heaven

Heaven Above go go is located on the right hand side of Soi Diamond, right in front of the Diamond Beach Hotel. It’s on the second floor so you have to walk up the “Stairway to Heaven” to get to the entrance. What you find once you get up there is well worth the climb.

The interior of the club isn’t really that big. It’s just the right size, as far as I’m concerned, to provide a nice intimate atmosphere with the Pattaya girls that work there. The color scheme is white with mirrors on all of the walls. It’s a nice clean bright room that has a high-class feel to it, not at all sleazy.

The girls are fabulous. They’re young, slim, and basically drop-dead beautiful.

The main stage is right in the middle of the room. They offer seating right down front on small round white stools. I prefer to sit on the bench seats that line the walls. There’s a small glass-top table in front of each seating area.

Pattaya Girl-Heaven Above

There are usually at least seven dancers on the main stage at all times and you can count on the fact that at least one of them will be dancing totally nude, usually the best looking one. I really like this place!

Besides the main stage, there are three small one-girl stages, located on each wall of the club. They always have a totally nude Pattaya girl dancing on one of these smaller stages and she will be a stunner.

Now here’s where it gets even better… the drink prices are reasonable. In fact, a shot of Sang Som is only 50 baht and lady drinks are 115 baht.

So you have reasonable drink prices, dynamite looking girls, and no hassles. Guys, you should definitely make this one of your first stops on any trip to Pattaya.

There’s a party going on somewhere in Pattaya every night. Last night the party was at the Lucky New Friend beer bar on Soi 10. They were celebrating Sa’s birthday and this Pattaya beer bar managed to put on quite a bash. There was free food and a special DJ was brought in to provide the music.

Sa was all decked out with a floral necklace and people kept pinning 100 baht bills to her all night. At least a couple of customers bought her roses and she didn’t seem to mind a bit that she was turning 33 years old.

You can’t have a party in Pattaya without balloons. That’s how you can tell it’s a special event. The Lucky New Friend bar was suitably decorated for the occasion with green and white balloons.

Ordinarily, the Lucky New Friend has two pool tables going and some of the bar girls are pretty good shots. Last night, however, they covered up the pool tables so they could put out a nice spread of free food. It was good food too, not just junk food. They had a couple of Thai dishes, two huge pots of soup, western style sandwiches, and a big fruit platter. You could actually get stuffed if you wanted.

The Lucky New Friend is located just west of Pattaya 2 road on Soi 10. It’s directly behind the Orn Bar that’s on the corner. Just take a walk down Soi 10 heading towards the beach. It’s the second bar on the left hand side. You can’t miss the two pool tables.

Every time I walk past the entrance, I spot at least one really nice looking girl among the bunch. Noi is one of the bar girls that I find to be particularly attractive and she’s a lot of fun too. Stop in and say hi to her if you’re in the area.

Pattaya’s famous Walking Street was dark Sunday night. There were plenty of tourists out walking around, but the Pattaya girls stayed home. I couldn’t find even one Pattaya Go Go bar open in the entire area. Believe me, I searched.

I was counting on at least one Pattaya go go to open up clandestinely, but no such luck. Those of you who were in Pattaya for the King’s Birthday in December remember that The Sea Agogo stayed open by candlelight in spite of the ban. Not so, last night.

Police had put the word out… stay closed or face the consequences. At any rate, the Pattaya girls got a much needed holiday Sunday night, so hopefully they’ll be all rested and twice as playful the rest of the week.

Sunday night’s closure was meant to celebrate Maka Buscha. This holiday takes place on the full moon of the 21st lunar month. For Westerner’s not in tune with the lunar calendar, it’s hard to tell just exactly when that is. It’s a different day each year. It’s an important public holiday throughout Thailand.

The day commemorates an event that took place in ancient times. Buddha, after his enlightenment, made his famous Dharma speech in front of 1250 disciples who had miraculously assembled for the event.

Sunday night the holiday was celebrated in temples all over Thailand with merit making ceremonies. People parade around the temples in candlelit processions, going around the temple three times. It’s really something to see. Every year Chaimongkol Temple in South Pattaya is packed with both Thais and Westerners observing the rights.

Meanwhile, those of us who were seeking more secular pleasures on Walking Street were disappointed. There were a few Pattaya beer bars open if you really looked hard. I had my beer served up in a coffee cup, complete with a candle, in observance of the holiday.

Things will be back to normal tonight.

First of all, the Pattaya freelancers can drink for free from 4pm until 9pm. Pete wants to get the girls in early. Talk about a happy hour; it can’t get any better than this. You can bet that when the word gets out, the Pattaya girls will come flocking in.

Second, The Pattaya Beer Garden will pay you to take one of the girls home. No kidding. Instead of you paying a bar fine for the girl, the bar is going to pay YOU.

Are you hearing this? The Beer Garden will pay you 200 baht if you can hook up with a Pattaya freelancer between 4pm and 9pm. The 200 baht will be paid in the form of a credit on your tab. Hell, that’s 3 or 4 beers right there.

The Pattaya Beer Garden is located in back of The Pier, which is the first beer bar before you get to Walking Street. In fact, you have to walk through the Pier, past the boxing ring, and on out to the back. Just stay on the right side.

The Pattaya Beer Garden is situated out over the water. Just keep walking on the right side of The Pier until you come to the water’s edge. You can’t miss it. It’s the place with all of the gorgeous Pattaya freelancers. See you on Friday.

Pattaya Saigon Girl

Just about the best short-time bar in Pattaya is Saigon Girl Bar on Soi 6. I know that a lot of guys don’t care for the action up on Pattaya Soi 6. It’s just too in-your-face for some. But if you’re looking for a good time in the afternoon, Saigon Girl Bar is there to please. They proudly advertise “Cold Beer and Hot Pussy”.

I like it because, for one, it’s cleaner than most of the Pattaya short time bars on Soi 6. No kidding, the girls are always dressed up nice. They change the style of their costumes and hairstyles everyday. The rooms upstairs are well kept and the whole operation just seems better, not as sleazy.

Saigon Girl is located on Soi 6 right up at the Pattaya 2 end of the street. You can ride the baht bus north up Pattaya 2 and get off just before Big-C. Walk down Soi 6 heading towards the beach and Saigon Girl will be the first short-time bar on your left.

You’ll always find at least 10 girls sitting out front, just dying to meet you. All of the girls wear the same outfits based upon the theme of the day. I’ve seen them in red dresses, in black dresses, white daisy-dukes, nurse outfits, you name it. It’s fun to go up there just to see what they’re wearing – or not wearing.

They have four clean rooms upstairs.

Prices are in line with all of the fine Soi Sex establishments, 300 baht bar fine and 700 baht short-time and that includes the room. Condoms are free of charge. You can have a hell of an afternoon all for under 1500 baht when you figure in beer and lady drinks. Bottled beers are only 75 baht and you can buy the girls any drink on the menu for just 30 baht more than the regular price.

Don’t forget to take your camera along when you make any trip up to Soi 6. The girls up there don’t mind being photographed and you can take home some nice memories to show the boys back home.

Just as a reminder, the bars on Pattaya Soi 6 are daytime venues. The best time is early afternoon. It’s definitely not the place to be at night.

Living Dolls Showcase

Living Dolls Showcase gives you the opportunity to experience some Pattaya girls from parts of Thailand other than just Issan. The last time I was there, I had the pleasure of meeting some girls from the South of Thailand and it was a pleasant change pace.

Living Dolls Showcase features girls from Krabi, Nakhon Si Thammarat, and Surat Thani, at least for the time being. The Southern girls have a different look about them and different mannerisms. You need to check it out.

Before coming to Pattaya, I spent over a year traveling around the South of Thailand and I can tell you that the Southern girls really know how to treat you right, especially if you’re looking for a “girlfriend experience”. I was blown away when I went into Living Dolls Showcase and met a girl from Krabi.

It’s only natural that girls from the same region would want to hang out together. I guess they’ve found their new home in Pattaya at Living Dolls Showcase. There’s no telling how long that will last. Girls come and go through Pattaya and things could be different in a month or so.

It’s easy to miss Living Dolls Showcase. It’s located so far down Walking Street that I usually get distracted before I find it. It’s clear down almost to Tony’s Entertainment Plaza. It’s on the beach side of the street. There are so many temptations in between the entrance to Walking Street and the Entrance to Living Dolls Showcase, it’s tough to make it all the way down there sometimes.

It’s worth the trip, however. You walk into the entrance and you have to pass through a long corridor before you actually get to the club area. Keep your eyes open, though, as you enter, because some of the girls take their breaks in this corridor and you might just spot a stunner on the way in.

The main stage is right in the center of the room. There is bench seating against the walls around the stage. You’ll pass the DJ before you get to the seats. I’ve never seen it get very crowded. There is also a small one-girl stage to the left as you walk in. Pull up a seat and enjoy the show. This Pattaya go go is pretty tame in comparison to some of the others. There’s no Jacuzzi and no naughty stage.

It’s definitely worth a visit. Bar fine is 700 baht for the dancers. The rest is “up to you”.

Tahitian Queen Rock n Roll Bar

If you’re looking for rock n roll music in Pattaya, The Tahitian Queen Rock & Roll Bar is where you can find it. This Pattaya go go has been around since the end of the Vietnam War and it’s still rockin strong. Most of the local expats who hang out there refer to it affectionately as the “TQ”. The Pattaya girls of the Tahitian Queen are just as rockin as the music.

The Tahitian Queen is just about the only Pattaya go go that opens in the early afternoon. If you’re strolling down Beach Road on a hot day and want to get out of the sun for a dose of A/C, this is the perfect place. It’s also perfect if you’ve just arrived in town and are looking for some daytime action before Walking Street gets going.

The TQ is home to a couple of local motorcycle clubs and it’s not uncommon to spot some of the big bikes in town parked right out front. In fact, if you’re not sure just where the Tahitian Queen is located, just walk up Beach Road until you spot the Harleys across from the beach.

The Tahitian Queen is located on Beach Road right between Soi 12 and Soi 13. You really can’t miss it. Don’t expect any great big neon signs, though. It’s more laid back than that.

At first glace, from the outside, you might get the impression that nothing much is happening there. But once you draw back the black curtain that covers the doorway and step inside, the party begins.

The main stage at the Tahitian is right in the middle of the room. It’s a narrow stage and the Pattaya go go girls dance side by side. It’s long enough for about eight girls to dance at a time. After a dance, the girl on the end will step off the stage and a new girl will get up on the stage at the other end.

You’ll always find plenty of Pattaya girls at the Tahitian Queen. They work in two shifts, a daytime shift and a second night shift. If I remember correctly, the night shift comes on around 6pm. So, if you time it right, you can see both shifts. The TQ has some real stunners.

If you’re a motorcycle enthusiast you should definitely make the Tahitian Queen your first stop in Pattaya. Even if you’re not into big bikes, the TQ is a great place to relax on a hot day just to watch  the Pattaya girls dancing to some good ole rock n roll.
