The EM Bar is one of the smaller Pattaya beer bars

One Pattaya beer bar that’s always a pleasure to visit is the EM Bar up on the corner of Beach Road and Soi 7.  The Pattaya girls that work in this beer bar are some of the friendliest and fun girls on the beach Road strip. Don’t expect a whole bunch of bar girls, though, you’ll probably only find four or five at the most. EM bar is a pleasant place to stop in for an afternoon cold one.

The EM Bar is one of the smallest beer bars on the beach road strip. As you enter they have a fully stocked bar on the right hand side of the room. They carry all of the local Thai beers and they stock all of the major liquor imports as well. There are stools at the bar so you can belly up to the bar if you want. On the left are three small tables with rattan lounge chairs. That’s it, and that’s OK. It’s a nice change of pace from the large beer bar operations all over town.

The girls are attentive and there’s absolutely no pressure to buy lady drinks at all. Drink prices are in line with the rest of the beer bars in the area and they even serve up complimentary peanuts.

I like to stop in whenever I’m up in that part of town during the daytime. It makes for a relaxing pit stop. I prefer to sit right at the front table by the sidewalk where I can watch the world pass by. Check it out, I recommend it.

Natalie’s Beer Bar is located in the same complex as the Frog Bar right off Walking Street. This area of bars is know as the new Simon Complex. As you walk back through the Simon Complex, approaching the waterfront, Natalie’s is almost at the end of the walkway on the right hand side. There are some very attractive Pattaya girls that work there.

This Pattaya beer bar is the pretty standard set up. As with all of the bars in this area, it’s horseshoe shaped with stools all around the bar. There’s one brass pole with a small tabletop size stage for the dancer. Natalie’s rarely has a dancer, though, so the pole really doesn’t serve any purpose.

At the back of the bar they have a big flat screen television where that’s usually tuned to the latest sporting events. Natalie’s is actually a pretty good place to watch the Premiere League games.

There’s also a nice selection of liquors featuring most of the popular imports and many top shelf brands. Prices are in line with all of the bars in this complex. The standard bar fine is 400 baht and most girls ask for 1000 baht for long time entertainment.

Natalie’s employs about a dozen bar girls. As Pattaya bar girls go, Natalie’s girls are above average in both looks and personality. It’s a fun place to spend an evening. The bar girls here do their best to speak a little English. They’re a fun bunch of bar girls and they don’t mind hamming it up for some photos.

They have Connect Four and some other dice games available so you can have some fun with the girls in spite of the language barrier. I swear that the girls even let you win occasionally. There’s not a lot of pressure to buy lady drinks here and the bar girls are very appreciative when you do.

Natalie’s is on our recommended list of Pattaya beer bars and is a comfortable place to pass the time.
